The Minilift weekend facelift is a revolutionary advancement that tightens the lower face and neck in a minimally invasive way. The MACS lift (Minimal Access Cranial Suspension Lift) was described as a modification of the S-lift by a Belgian group in 2001. The MACS facelift is often preferred because it is less invasive than other face lift procedures and leaves a shorter scar.
A facelift can be combined with other procedures such as eyelid surgery, neck lift, brow lift or liposuction.
The operation can be performed under general anesthesia, local anesthesia with intravenous sedation, oral sedation or local anesthesia. The MACS procedure takes about 1.5 hours less time than the standard procedure and can easily be combined with lower lids blepharoplasty or other procedures which might be indicated. For many patients seeking to improve their appearance, the upper arm represents a particularly troubling body part. Despite dieting and multiple arm exercises, some patients feel like they are stuck with either heavy or saggy upper arms. Brachioplasty or arm lift is a surgical procedure by which excess skin and fat from the upper arm are removed.
