An S-Lift procedure may be performed in your doctor’s office or in an outpatient surgical facility. Pre-medication is generally recommended to relax the patient. An S-Lift is performed using a special anesthetic solution, which is injected in the area forward of the ears. This fluid gently lifts the skin from the underlying tissue.
The short-scar facelift is particularly suitable on younger patients in their thirties, forties and sometimes fifties. It can be combined with liposuction in the neck area or blepharoplasty to give a remarkable overall improvement.
The S Lift is an ideal alternative to conventional lower face lifts. The procedure time is approximately 60 minutes and is usually performed as a Day Procedure. The S Lift can be combined with other procedures, such as a brow lift or eyelid lift or skin rejuvenation. (more…)

Instead of the invasive, traditional facelift that involves the removal of skin, fat and tissue, the FeatherLift® system uses barbed threads to pull skin tighter without cutting. The Featherlift technique developed in 1996 by Russian father and son cosmetic surgeons Drs. Marlen and Georgi Sulamanidze, involves the use of suture like threads made from a special bio-compatible material.
The procedure actually involves facial lifting, (not pulling) which is done with Aptos threads. The Aptos threads are made of a monofilament material call “polypropylene”. A full face featherlift would require 18 threads, usually 2 for each brow, 3 for each cheek, 2 for each jaw line and 2 for each side of the neck, although not everyone may need a full lifting procedure.
